Let's set up your books

Start with the country your business is registered in. It sets your currency, date format and tax handling.

Statutory forms and Books of Accounts for the first region are built in. Other countries get the ledger, tax codes and reporting — not local filing forms.

You can add more later. This decides how your workspace is arranged on day one.

What is the company called?

It becomes the name on your workspace and prints on your invoices. You can change it later.

What kind of business is it?

This affects your books and which tax forms you will need.

Tax registration number

It prints on your invoices and official receipts.

Is the business VAT-registered?

This decides whether your selling prices include VAT, and how tax is shown on an invoice.

When does your financial year start?

Your accounting periods, closing dates and comparative reports all follow this.

How many people work there?

This sizes your payroll and how many people we set up with access.

Which currencies do you deal in?

Add every currency you take money in or pay out in. The first one you add is your main currency — the one your reports are stated in.

Before your first live invoice, Boongon asks for a few documents to verify the business. You can do it whenever you like — it is not needed to start the trial.

The exact list depends on where you are registered. Boongon shows the right one for your country when you come to upload them.
